You can delete your Nayra account at any time, and you do not need to ask anyone for permission. This page explains how to do it, what gets removed, and what happens to the data we are required to keep. Nayra is operated by BUSINESS BRIDGE INTERNATIONAL BV.
1. Delete it yourself, in the app
This is the fastest way and takes about a minute:
- Open Nayra and go to the Profile tab.
- Tap the gear icon in the top right corner.
- Choose Manage account.
- Scroll down and tap Delete account.
- Confirm your identity — your password if you signed up with email, or a six-digit code we send you if you signed in with Apple or Google.
- Confirm the deletion.
The option is available even if you have not finished setting up your account yet.
2. If you cannot get into the app
Some people cannot reach the delete button — for example if you created your account with Sign in with Apple on an iPhone and now only have an Android phone, where that option is not offered. Email us and we will delete the account for you:
Write from the address your account uses, or tell us which address it uses. We answer within a few days and confirm once the account is gone. We may ask one question to make sure the request really comes from the account holder — we will never ask for your password.
3. What gets deleted
Everything tied to your account:
- Your profile — name, email address, photo and settings
- Your learning progress, streaks, XP and achievements
- Your Financial Confidence Index answers and results
- Your savings goals
- Your community posts and comments
- Your conversations with the AI assistant
- Your support messages
- Your devices, so notifications stop
4. Timing, and how to change your mind
Deletion is permanent. When you confirm it, you lose access immediately and your data is erased after 30 days. That window exists for one reason only: so you can undo an accidental deletion. Sign in again within those 30 days and you will be offered the choice to restore the account. After that it is gone and cannot be recovered by us or by anyone else.
A small amount of data outlives the account because the law requires it or because it no longer identifies you: anonymous usage statistics that carry no link to your profile, and records we must keep to show that we handled a report or a legal request properly. The full retention table is in our Privacy Policy.
5. Want a copy of your data first?
Export it before you delete — once the account is gone we cannot retrieve it. In the app: Profile → gear icon → Manage account → Export my data. You will receive a file with everything we hold about you.
